2.5-hour guided session
Discover the beauty of breaking and mending in this calming, mindful Kintsugi workshop. Together, we’ll explore the traditional Japanese art of repairing ceramics with gold — celebrating cracks, honouring imperfections, and transforming something once broken into something even more meaningful.
During this 2.5-hour session, you’ll learn the core principles of modern Kintsugi using safe, beginner-friendly materials and real ceramic pieces. You’ll piece together your vessel, highlight the joins with striking gold, and create a decorative object that carries a quiet sense of history, beauty, and resilience.
All materials are supplied — ceramic pieces (or bring your own treasured piece) adhesives, gold leaf and brushes — along with a complimentary glass of house wine to sip as you work.
We’ll be set up in the Garden Bar to enjoy the of the summer light, moving indoors to the Dining Room if the weather chooses chaos.
It’s a grounding, reflective, hands-on workshop that leaves everyone with a piece of art that tells a story — and looks beautiful on any shelf.
